My name is Karen and I love anything related to books and reading. I used to read a lot when I was younger but I got out of the habit through college and in my early 20s. In the past 5 years I’ve reconnected with books and now have an extreme passion for them! I started this blog because I want to share my reading experiences with others. Time is at a premium and wasting time on a bad book is just the worst! I am also disappointed in the lack of thorough yet simple reviews out there for those who want to find something that they will enjoy reading and I hope to provide that too!
Lastly, I find that writing a review of a book is very useful to me personally by enhancing my overall reading experience. I enjoy taking the time to think about how the book impacted me and write a review about that. It makes it easier for me to retain the details and ultimately makes the book more memorable (whether good or bad). In some strange way I almost feel I owe it to the author reflect a moment before moving on.
I am a very happily married, full-time working mother of 2 children and I live in northern Ohio. In addition to reading, I love hanging with my hubby and kiddos, watching movies, shopping and entertaining friends and family. It’s really a wonder that I have time for reading at all – but you always find time for the things you love!
